How to do


  1. Breathing to be via diaphragm or belly as far as possible


  1. Sit comfortably with the spine straight
  2. Breathe in fully through the nose - first the tummy then the chest
  3. Open the mouth and start the 'O' of the Om chant
  4. About midway though start closing the lips to switch to the 'm' sound
  5. Continue for a few minutes
